Voter’s Meeting - April 23, 2009
Present: Pastor Utecht, Monty Neiffer, Bud Stolzenburg, Ron Lower, Rick Jeffers, Jim Luchsinger, Billy Beel, Brent Peterson
The financial report was presented by Jim Luchsinger. It was moved by Lower and seconded by Neiffer to approve the financial report as presented. Motion passed.
The Youth Group recently attended a UNL baseball game and will meet one more time prior to taking the summer off.
A report was given by Mr. Beel on the building project. After discussion it was the consensus of the voters that the building committee be given the authority to make decisions on the purchase of kitchen cabinets, flooring, and other related items in the building project.
Several individuals were discussed as possible nominations for the Youth Counselors. Those individuals will be approached as to their interest and willingness to serve.
It was moved by Lower and seconded by Beel to delegate the purchase of a gift for Pastor Rudy Schaaf for his retirement.
Pastor gave a report on upcoming events including Bible School, Confirmation, weddings, and adult instruction.
The meeting adjourned and closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
